History

Renner Protective Coatings is a division of Renner, a traditional Brazilian company founded in 1927. The history of Renner Protective Coatings begins in the 60’s with the installation of a sales office in Rio de Janeiro. In 1982, when Renner Group purchased the industrial plant of Tintura Indústria de Tintas S.A., in Curitiba, state of Paraná, the group made crucial investments and that plant became specialized in the production of maritime paints and industrial maintenance. Since then, the company has expanded its market share and consolidated its position as a premium producer of high-performance anticorrosion coatings and paints, using its own technology and also benefiting from international technology transfer agreements.

Through continuing investments to improve its products and services, Protective Coatings can guarantee the production and supply of high quality anti-corrosion coatings and paints attested by the most respected certification agencies worldwide. The company has earned the ISO 9001/2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications.

By keeping up with and even anticipating market trends, the company manufactures products that have little or no environmental impact and meet strict environmental regulations worldwide.

Because the company is located near large commercial, urban, and port centers in Brazil, its products are quickly and efficiently distributed to the clients.
